I honestly don't know what to think about this. I'm a die-hard Metroid fan, so I'll still like it, nonetheless. But to see it being produced by Team Ninja is kinda making me worried. Seeing their reputation is revolved around extremely arrogant designers and producers, over the top ninja action shit and having a library of many big-titty monster chicks and their volleyball games, I seriously hope they don't fuck up Samus' character, or at least what little character she has. And hopefully it doesn't turn out to be some crazy fanboy's wet dream type of story. We'll just have to wait and see 'till more stuff is revealed.
